The 2026 Valspar Championship generated $1.64 million for Tampa Bay area charities, the tournament announced this week in conjunction with their "Paint The Town Positive” Charity Caravan, which incorporated visits to some of the nearly 100 benefiting charities in the Tampa Bay area. Copperhead Charities, the tournament’s host organization, has now generated more than $54 million since 1977.

The Valspar Championship, Tampa Bay’s PGA TOUR event, is moving to May in 2027 according to official dates provided by the PGA TOUR. The competition rounds will be May 6-9 with the final round to be contested on Mother’s Day.
