Justin Rose and Jason Dufner, who won major championships in 2013, are among the latest group of commitments to the Valspar Championship presented by BB&T which will be contested March 12-15 on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor.

Rose, the 2013 U.S. Open champ, is ranked 8th on the latest Official World Golf Ranking and gives the tournament five of the current top 10 expected in the field (also #2 Henrik Stenson, #5 Adam Scott, #6 Jim Furyk and #10 Matt Kuchar).

Dufner, who won the PGA Championship in 2013, is also no stranger to the OWGR top 10 having spent much of ’12 and ’13 there.  He was bothered by a neck injury for most of last season, but has been playing a full schedule since the start of 2015.

Both golfers have been consistent supporters of the Valspar Championship.  Rose will be making his 9th appearance in the tournament with a 5th in 2011 and an 8th last year.  Dufner is appearing for the 7th consecutive year and has not finished worse than 28th in those last six appearances.

Other recent commitments include Jamie Donaldson (#25 OWGR), Ryan Moore (#33 OWGR) and Vijay Singh who counts a win on the Copperhead in 2004 among his 34 PGA TOUR victories.
