Henrik Stenson, the seventh-ranked player in the world appeared in the Interview Room on Tuesday and among the topics covered was his decision to skip the upcoming WGC Dell World Match Play Championship and play in the Valspar Championship.

“I think it (the Copperhead) is a good golf course for me…I played it for the first time last year, this is only my second time here. I kept it on because I think the golf course really suits my game. It’s close to home (Orlando) and…Valspar is putting on a good show and looking after us well.”

Veteran pro Matt Kuchar is back to The Valspar for an eighth time. “I certainly have enjoyed my time,” he said Tuesday. “I enjoy the golf course, I enjoy staying on property. It’s a great week.”
